Where should I register my aircraft? By Thomas A. Alston - www.aeromarinetaxpros.com Many people believe that they can set up an LLC in Delaware or any other location outside California in order to avoid sales or use tax in California. The state where the LLC or corporation is registered has nothing to do with legally avoiding tax in California. In fact, as I have mentioned before many times, don't leave things to chance. If the State of California decides to, they can charge you with fraud. ...

The play 'CHICAGO" was penned by Mary Dallas Watkins, a reporter for the Chicago Tribune. Art Braidic (a minister of the Church of God) and I have enjoyed a biblical discussion about whether or not God's covenant with Judah is still active. I trust others may glean something profitable from our fellowship. Michael Jackson's sudden death was a shock to everyone; his family, his fans, his business associates and colleagues.  From the start Michael's death appeared suspicious with varying rumors of prescription drug abuse, a live-in doctor and strange 911 call and even evidence the singer had been having nightly anesthesia in order to induce sleep from chronic insomnia.  As the celebration of his life and moving funeral move into the background, I feel it is almost inevitable that there will be at ...

The "duplicate content penalty" myth is one of the biggest obstacles I face in getting web professionals to embrace reprint content. The myth is that search engines will penalize a site if much of its content is also on other websites. Clarification: there is a real duplicate content penalty for content that is duplicated with minor or no variation across the pages of a single site. There is also a "mirror" penalty for a site that is more or less substantially duplicating another single site. ...

Duplicate content penalty. Ever heard of it? This penalty is applied by Google and possibly other search engines when content found on your website is largely the same as what is found elsewhere on your site or on other websites across the internet. Search engine spam describes the practice of making changes to your website that gets you listed high in search engines at the expense of readability by humans. ...

The gun control debate in America is a battle between personal freedom and public safety. For nearly 160 years, there were no limits to the Second Amendment, which guarantees "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." In 1934, however, and especially in the last four decades, Americans have begun to proscribe and debate the extent of that right. The National Firearms Act of 1934 was the first restriction on gun rights in American history. As a result, fully automatic weapons ...

The arbitrator is usually an experienced attorney or retired judge. This author has served as an arbitrator in many personal injury cases. The purpose of Mandatory Arbitration ...
